Corral gate

University of New Hampshire

The University needed a gate strong enough to keep their animals out of the busy street, and away from the nearby park.

They chose Fiberglass gates made by Polypride because of their superior strength.

The University was so pleased that they purchased additional gates and had this to say:
“These are the best gates we have ever used”, Sue Burns- who runs the Animal Science Dept.
And they will likely never need to replace them.

After a winter of ice storms, we called Sue to see how the gates handled the –20 Degree Temperature and the 10-12 inches of ice.
“I Don’t Know, but when they thaw we’ll see”, said Sue.
The picture to the right was taken the following spring. The gates were undamaged from the ice and snow, and remain in operation today.

Lisa Raymer, of Dual Cool Dairy Goats. had this to say about her toughs:
“I'm very happy with the feeders (troughs), though not nearly as happy as the goats. I hang them on the stall walls or lay them on the ground, they work great either way. The other thing is when I hang a medium trough on the wall, it can hold up to 3 sleeping kids.Lisa Raymer goats & trough

I tried to get a picture of them sleeping in the trough, but of course they all jumped up the minute they saw me. I am very happy with the troughs!”

The gates are also resistant to the sun , which is shown by the picture above which shows a gate that has been in operation for nearly 7 years with very few signs of fading.
